Sosh 2 won their first residence league

Sosh 2 came back from behind to seal a 2-1 victory over Sosh 5 on the Residence league match at TUT stadium bremely on Sunday at 11:00 am.

On the 03rd of September 2023, Sosh 2 beat Sosh 5 by 2-1 on residence league on Sunday at TUT stadium bremely. Tsepiso Thulare who plays for Sosh 5 broke the deadlock by heading home Tsepang Muhlare corner kick on the stroke of first half.

Sosh 2 responded through Sbongiseni Zakwe in the 55th minute when he headed home a cross from Benediction Muhapi as the in-form striker. Before Thulare’s goal, Ayanda Dlamini got injured and he was replaced by Asakhe Ndwandwe.

Thabang Mahlapa seemed to have asked Lutho Ngobeni to get on the ball more in the second half. The little playmaker turned on some skill and fed Zakwe on the left to chip into the box where blisteringly on form from Sesona showing a predator’s instinct.

As the contest seemed headed for a draw, Sesona Bimbi then won it for the Sosh 2 in stoppage time with Lutho Ngobeni being the provider with beautiful cross. Since Tsepiso Thulare is the man of the moment, Sosh 5 fans had high hopes that he would save their day at TUT stadium, and he failed to deliver the goods.

The coach of Sosh 5 Zwelakhe Pholo said, “The game was on and off from our side because when this game started, they didn’t put much effort because they thought that they won after scoring one goal that’s why Sosh 2 managed to score goals. That’s not the results we wanted but we will pull up our socks on our next game.”

According to Thabang Mahlapa the coach of Sosh 2 “The game was very hectic, and we managed to get three points and I’m happy for that.”

Lutho Ngobeni, on the other hand, impressed with his creative skills and he was named Man of the Match. “This game was difficult, and we got so many strong opponents, but we are happy about the results, and we got one point,” said Lutho Ngobeni.

There was a lot of positivity to take from the match and players from both teams were confident about this game because they were fighting for three points.
