Hundreds of students gathered at Tshwane University of Technology main campus pool area on 01 September 2023 for the rally of the Economic Freedom Fighters which was addressed by CMSR Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.

Ndlozi was there to give students thumbs up and convinced them to vote for EFF and for the party during the 2024 national elections. The EFF student command is ready for next week’s elections, which will be held from 4 to 6 September at all TUT campuses.

While students and EFF members waited for Ndlozi they were singing struggle songs and dancing. Outside the pool area, there were also scores of stalls selling all sorts of EFF merchandise red shirts, red berets, and red overalls.

“We need a government that establishes its own bank, a bank that does not discriminate against black people. Education is all about working hard,” said Ndlozi.

Mathebula Ndhavuko of the EFF’s student command said, “As the SRC I’m willing to change the issues that students are facing here at TUT. There are a lot of issues here at TUT like the one of clinic that is operating from Monday to Thursday, us as an EFF member we are willing to change the operating of clinic from Monday to Sunday.”

“We are here as an EFF to remind the students of Tut to attach their emotions when they vote and this time around, they must make sure that they vote for the organisation which will fight for the hygienic toilets, fight for them not to write twice and fight for their complains. All students of TUT must come and vote for the EFF student command,” said Ntsobelo Maluleke an SRC Deployee of EFF Universal Access Officer.

Ndlozi encouraged the students to love and protect each other. He said that we need government that believes in black people and a government that solve the economic problem of this country.
